Volunteering with the Architecture Centre offers you the opportunity to gain an insight into Bristol’s built environment, contribute to the Centre’s charitable aims and develop your own skills.
We have a range of opportunities:
Front of house volunteers
Our front of house volunteers welcome visitors, invigilate the gallery, and have the opportunity to get involved in other projects. You need to be available for a regular half-day slot (weekly or fortnightly), Wednesday – Friday. To find out more about the role and how to apply download our information sheet.
Volunteer with Bristol Doors Open Days
This annual festival is an excellent opportunity to volunteer with the Architecture Centre. Each year we involve core volunteers to assist in the organisation of the festival and also venue volunteers who help on the festival weekend. To find out more join the Bristol Doors Open Day mailing list here.
As a small arts charity we unfortunately do not have the resources to offer work experience opportunities. If you are interested in architecture and built environment careers, check our Resources section (search for Schools and careers) and What we do (search for Young people).
