14 Sep - 16 Sep 2018
Your keys to the city, Bristol Open Doors unlocks the doors to iconic spaces and best kept secrets this September.
For one weekend a year (14-16 September), Bristol Open Doors gives you the chance to experience Bristol’s places and spaces like never before. Get behind the scenes at 100+ fascinating buildings and join exclusive tours throughout the weekend – all for free.
What’s new in 2018?
This year experience the city afresh, with over 30 new venues and special experiences. There’s boat tours, immersive walking tours, private housing talks and much more.
With so much going on, we’ve teamed up with three leading organisations to curate ‘highlight’ strands that will help you make the most of the festival: New Bristol Architecture (with RIBA), Engineering in Focus (with ICE) and Places for People (with Arup).
As ever the festival welcomes the budding architects in our midst with a vast majority of venues hosting trails, treasure hunts and creative fun throughout the weekend –look out for the Fantastic for Families section in the programme for standout activities.
The full programme will be revealed in mid July. To be the first to hear about it sign up to our festival newsletter here.
