Home of 2030 is a bold new initiative that seeks an answer to the question:

What do we want our future houses to look like?

We want you to tell us what you love and don’t love about your home and what you think people will want and need in the Home of 2030. How we can design and build affordable, efficient, healthy and green homes in the future? Design Council is running a series of creative, interactive workshops with WECA to find out.

Could you be part of this workshop? Join us for lunch on us!

The insight gathered from these workshops will be used to develop a brief for a competition to design and build the Home of 2030. The competition is open to developers, designers, and others interested in taking on this exciting challenge.

You don’t need to have any technical knowledge or experience to take part in the discussions and we’d love to hear from a diverse set of people, whatever your experience and background and wherever you live in the West of England. We’ll have experts and professionals on hand to answer questions and help you create your vision for the Home of 2030.
