The Architecture Centre, in partnership with Arnolfini, will host a free inter-generational creative community workshop at Hillfields Library as part of Bristol Family Arts Festival year round community programme.
The workshop aims to encourage the creativity in us all and invites you to pick up a pencil and pull your childhood memories of place onto paper.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
In highlighting Garth’s later-life creativity the event is also celebrating the first ‘Bristol: A City for all Ages’ week (19-24 June) run by Bristol Aging Better.
‘Bristol: A City for All Ages’ is a collaboration between partners across the city working to make Bristol a great place for everyone at every age, focusing particularly on children and older people.
The “Bristol: A City for All Ages” week between the 19th – 23rd June will celebrate the work of our partners and the ways in which we are all similar, and yet sometimes have different needs in different generations. The week will feature activities, talks and events that showcase the work of the partners and will shine a light on inter-generational work that is happening in the city.
